So what’s it all about - saving our precious flora and fauna in the Whakatipu…

Rock Wren on Xenicus.jpg

Rock Wren

The facts of the missing rock wren. Rock wren are small, reclusive birds found in small pockets of the South Island's high country. Their limited flying ability and nesting on the ground makes them easy targets for predators such as rats and stoats.

We can all make a difference to help save birds like the Rock Wren by contributing to the work of the Whakatipu Wildlife Trust and its many volunteers.
